Who we are
AT42 Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
AT42 Ltd is a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 10669952). Registered office: 42 Woodham Lane, New Haw, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 3NA.
For anything about this policy or your personal data, contact us at office@at42.co.uk or 07793 364131.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our enquiry form: your name, email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, which service you are interested in, and your message.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to deal with buying, selling, servicing or MOT work for you.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you chose to send us — and, where you go on to do business with us, performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Your enquiry passes through two service providers acting on our instructions:
- Brevo — delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email. Brevo is based in the European Union, so your details are transferred outside the UK under appropriate safeguards (the UK's adequacy arrangements with the EU).
- Vercel — hosts this website and processes the request that submits the form.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 24 months from our last contact with you, then delete them. Where an enquiry becomes a sale or a job, we keep the associated records for as long as we must for tax, consumer-rights and regulatory purposes.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own, and there is no analytics or advertising technology on it.
The one exception is the map on our Find Us section. Google Maps sets its own cookies, so we do not load it automatically — it appears only when you press Show map. If you never press it, nothing from Google is loaded and no third-party cookies are set. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time.
To exercise any of these, email office@at42.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top.
